Warning: This is not a home decor post but it is the next best thing – A wedding post!! Today marks our TWO year wedding anniversary. Y’all know first hand how much time and energy I’ve spent on our house. Well, picture THAT much time and energy crammed into a six month period. THAT was our wedding day. January 31, 2015.There are three letters that come to mind when describing our wedding – D.I.Y. From the invitations, to the program, to the cakes, to a giant pallet wall – Everyone in our wedding party played a part. It was such a special day. I remember as we drove away that night, I said to Brett, “This was the best day of my life!” He agreed.
We got married in an old flour mill in North Texas. It was industrial, rustic, and full of character which made for an amazing canvas to work with. We spent the entire day before decorating. I remember our photographer walked in the next day and said, “This is the best the flour mill has ever look.” That was the highest praise considering all the work we put in. Over the past couple years my Pinterest boards have changed from wedding inspiration to home decor but it is still so fun to reflect on this day! I could go on for days because (like I said) we did so much ourselves and it was the BEST day, after all! However, I will spare you as I know you follow along for home decor inspiration – And for that I’m extremely thankful!
Thank you for allowing me to share! ? More home decor post coming soon – I promise!
