Ever since we got a new front door, I have had the urge to update the front porch decor with each season. This spring, I didn’t want to spend much money but I wanted to change out the plaid layered rug look because plaid screams fall to me.
This weekend I ditched the plaid rugs and bought this extra large Welcome mat. I love the simplicity and oversized look. We planted some sweet potato vine and a Cordyline Australis Purpurea (to add some height) to our planter for a fresh new look! Our house faces North so we typically buy plants that do not require a ton of sun (i.e. they always don’t usually flower). I love these two plants together because they give us some color!
This was an inexpensive, easy front porch refresh that put a little pep in my step! What do y’all think?!
