Our sweet baby boy, Jones, turned ONE a couple weeks ago. He is the happiest baby so of course, we threw him a ‘ONE Happy Dude’ 1st birthday party! 😎
Since we just moved to Oklahoma and we are in a rental home (still in boxes), I decided to rent a pavilion at a park for the party. Aside from the Oklahoma wind, it was perfect! I bought almost all the decor from Amazon and Etsy. It was simple but adorable!
For entertainment, we had the park, corn hole, and coloring pages. I covered the corn hole boards I painted for the girls’ party in checkered removable wallpaper to go with the theme. I bought these customizable coloring pages from Etsy and brought a handful of markers for the little ones to color.
For food we ordered pizza and my mother-in-law made cupcakes that I decorated with these custom face toppers and checkered pennant flags from Hobby Lobby. The cupcake toppers were by far my favorite part! They truly made everyone smile!
I loved the lighting bolt centerpieces! They come with a battery powered option or you can plug them in. I stuck batteries in them to use them for the party! I also found these acrylic cupcake risers I know I’ll use again!
For this party I bought this balloon stand on Amazon. It was easy to construct and comes with bags you fill with water to weigh it down it was perfect for the balloon garland backdrop! Once you’re done with it, it fits in a little drawstring bag. I definitely wish I had bought this for previous parties!
Here’s a link to everything I purchased for the party! It was simple and adorable! If you have one happy baby, I definitely suggest this theme!
