It’s no secret, I’m a huge fan of wood woven shades! They add so much warmth to a space and offer privacy! It’s also no secret, Select Blinds is one of my favorite companies I’ve ever worth with.
Last year we added wood woven shades from Select Blinds to all the windows we had replaced on the front of our house (the kitchen and bedrooms). In the bedrooms we installed wood woven shades from Select Blinds in the color Lomaloma with a blackout liner. In the kitchen we went with the same shade except a privacy liner (rather than blackout) to allow some light to filter through. They are cordless (which is safe for little ones). You just push them up and down – So easy!! We have been so pleased with these shades. I could go on for days about my love for them.
Last month we had new windows installed on the back of the house (our living room) and I couldn’t wait to install more wood woven shades to the new windows. It took all of 10 minutes for Brett to put up the new shades and I love the look! Wood shades paired with curtains is my jam. The color is the perfect light, neutral wood, with tons of texture. I did not want to take away any of the natural light that shines through these windows – Fortunately, these shades when raised up take up hardly any room. Plus, the privacy liner (which is totally optional) still allows light to shine through. It’s awesome.
Wood woven shades are an investment but oh, so worth it. The folks at Select Blinds are the nicest, so helpful, and easy to work with. I highly recommend them!

Hi – Love love love your shades! You mentioned they discontinued the Lomaloma color when you had them installed last year. What color did you go with for your living room? It looks similar and is exactly what I’m looking to do in our dining room. I’m overwhelmed by all the options so really appreciate your post. Thanks so much!
Jamie says
All the shades in our home are Lomaloma!

I went with Lomaloma again – they restocked them for a period of time. Antiqua is super similar (minus the lines). I’d suggest getting a sample of it!

I love the shades! Do you know of a similar style/shade that would be close to what you selected as it seems this one no longer is sold?

I love these wood blinds! I’ve heard great things about the company you bought them with. I also love your wall color. Can you please share it? Thank you!!

I am wondering what the color is as well…considering the name of her blog I am guessing the wall color is Sherwin Williams Mindful Gray, it looks the same.
Jamie says
Yep! Mindful Gray!

How do yours provide privacy? Did you get a backing on them?
Jamie says
Yes! They provide privacy. In the bedrooms we did a blackout liner and privacy liner in the living spaces.

Hi! Your shades and window panels are beautiful together! Where did you find the curtain rod? I love the oil rubbed bronze or black rods, and I need a king one for a triple window! Thanks

I recommend this one for large windows! https://rstyle.me/cz-n/ge4nq6b7fn7

Hi, I love your shades! Lomaloma is not showing up in their website. Could you please share the link I can find it? I am looking for a shade that allows light at the same time gives some privacy. Any alternative suggestions to lomaloma?
Jamie says
Hi Sandy! Lomaloma isn’t available anymore but Antiqua Natural is a close match. I’d suggest ordering a sample of it!
