Minimal & Neutral Fall Living Room Update

I started decorating for fall this week and man does it feel good! Something about changing up the decor around the house with the changing seasons just feels like a fresh start.

I painted our fireplace white using a white limewash paint a couple months ago so now when styling the living room it feels like I’m in someone else’s house! The white fireplace changed everything for me! I feel like it simplified the space so now rugs, vases, pillows, etc really pop and don’t compete with the colors in the brick.

I purchased a few pieces from Walmart for fall to make our living room feel cozy and fresh! I ordered this set of wall art for each side of our cased opening. I haven’t changed up what was in this spot since moving into our home almost 6 years ago (is that a record for me?!). This wall art totally exceeded my expectations when I opened the box! The canvas has a beautiful texture and the design is so simple and modern. The canvas is a creamy white so it’s not too stark white.

Going along with the creamy white color – I purchased this throw blanket. The quality is SO GOOD, yall!! It has cozy, boho vibes making it perfect for fall! I love it draped on our cream couch to add a bit of texture. I also put this throw pillow on the couch. I love the basket weave pattern and the size next to my existing bigger pillows.

Walmart never fails with the on point fall decor! I partnered with them a few years ago to create this fall entryway that went viral! It doesn’t take much to make a space feel like new – Cozy pillows, fresh wall art, and some house plants does it for me!
