It has been quite some time since I have written a blog post. Honestly, 2020 was a weird year (for everyone, I know). The majority of the year I felt like I didn’t know how to respond on social media to the craziness in the world. I chose to internalize everything and not post much at all. I also care too much what others think about me and fear/feared backlash (if I’m being totally honest). People can be… well… mean, behind a computer. All that to say, I missed out on sharing BIG, good, news on here!!
First up, we are having another baby girl at the end of next month! After two miscarriages, this bundle of joy is a huge blessing we do not take for granted for one second. Children are true miracles and after everything we’ve been through I say that with a whole new level understanding.
Secondly, we bought a cabin in Colorado!! It is a dream come true! Brett and I have always desired to own a second home / investment property. When the opportunity came about last summer we jumped on it!! The cabin is two bedroom, one bath in Woodland Park, Colorado. We put our touch on it earlier this month (painted the entire interior, replaced all the fixtures, and furnished it the Mindfully Gray way! It was the hardest project we’ve taken on (furnishing a house 600+ miles away from home) but it turned out better than we could’ve imagined! It is now available to rent on Air Bnb! Congratulations on your baby Girl. God Bless. Do you know the name of the builder or maker of your cabin? Are they tiny homes. I am looking to build something like this in the Midwest where I live. Any info you have would be most appreciative. I may just have to book your place as the area looks gorgeous!
