It’s finally fall, y’all! I am so excited to be participating in this Finally Fall Home Tour. If you’re visiting from one of the other amazing bloggers on the tour – Welcome, I’m happy you’re here! I decided to dress up our dining room for fall – This room is the center and heart of our whole home. Adding fall decor to this space changed the look and feel of the entire house. When I saw pumpkins for sale at the store a couple weeks ago I felt giddy at the thought of decorating our home with them – After all, this is our first fall in our first house! I love all the warm colors and natural decor that fall brings. I recently discovered green pumpkins – GAME. CHANGER. They are a beautiful sage green and each one has such a unique / quirky shape. My kinda pumpkins.
It’s safe to say Brett and I both have fall fever – Saturday morning my husband woke up with all things fall on the brain. He came into our bedroom and said “You know what sounds so good? Pumpkin spice coffee creamer! Lets go get some right now – I’ll be in the truck when you’re ready.” Wow. I’m convinced he was bit by the fall bug overnight and I couldn’t be happier about it. We returned with pumpkin creamer, six pumpkins, and pumpkin pancakes! We NEVER eat pancakes you guys – Proof this morning was unlike any other.
After indulging in pancakes I got to decorating the house with our new pumpkins. I love the way these green pumpkins look with our magnolia wreath. When I think of fall I think orange, yellow, red – This year fall in our house is green, white, natural, and nature! Who says fall has to be orange? These pumpkins and place settings bring warmth into our home without necessarily being warm in color.
I set out our beautiful Pottery Barn Cambria Dining Set. We received these beauties when we got married and they have been tucked away ever since. I was excited to place them on our table and add a simple pinecone in the center of each. Brett has his own landscape company – I told him to be on the lookout for some pinecones last week and he came home with several dozen that night. He’s the man.
Going along with bringing the outdoors in, I also placed fresh tree clippings underneath the pumpkins. They don’t last long, however if you are expecting company or throwing a party they are sure to do the job short term! Greenery is an easy and inexpensive add-on that makes a big difference and brings a sense of completeness to any space.
I was able to create this table scape without breaking the bank, as well. I already had the place settings, I spent $12.00 on all six pumpkins, and found these adorable placemats from Target for $5.99 each. This tablescape will last clear through November – Totally worth it!

I love the look of your house. I spotted the gray console table in the background of one the pictures. I have been looking for one exactly like that, could you please tell me where you found that?
Jamie says
Thank you so much! The console table was given to us, I painted it Annie Sloan, “French Linen” and changed out the hardware.
