Our master bedroom “refresh” has been underway for quite sometime now (as you know). I have had ideas of how to complete this room swirling around in my head but hadn’t managed to make them happen – That was until I came across Walmart’s home collection!
Walmart’s home collection is loaded with amazing pieces. I first came to realize this when I purchased our master bedroom rug from Walmart! *Swoon* When refreshing our room for summer I noticed Walmart has a ton of great neutral pieces at (of course) the lowest price. Their Bedroom Swells collection and wall art specifically create a light, coastal feel for summer that can be easily swapped out for fall.
To start, I knew I wanted some type of art above our nightstands. I found this set of two white frames, with white mats and blue / indigo art – They were exactly what I was looking for! Two on each side of the headboard help fill the space and give the room balance / symmetry.
Side note: Is it just me or do y’all think all master bedrooms should look/ feel fancy schmancy? I think the master bedroom should be a retreat (a.k.a. a place to hide from your kids) with a peaceful, serene atmosphere. This new comforter set I added to the foot of our bed totally makes it feel this way! What I love most about it – I didn’t have to fill it with a duvet! It is this full all on its own!
When styling a room I always try to purchase staple neutral pieces and then finish the space with less expensive accessories that can be easily swapped out each season. This bed and rug make two great staple pieces! They go with anything!

Hi! This may be odd.. but I noticed the vows on the wall and LOVED them. And I was wondering if there is a wife’s vows wall art as well?? I’m wondering if you could tell me where I could get those. Theyre like basically the exact same as the vows my fiancé and I have written and I may even change them so they can match this and we can have it in our home!
