Cabin Bathroom Design!

In a few months we are remodeling the bathroom at the cabin and I can’t wait!! The shower tile was originally done with huge grout lines which caused the grout to crack (within no time) and need to be redone. Here’s to hoping there is no water damage behind the tile! 🥴🤞🏼

We had plans to only redo the shower but the contractor who did our girl’s bathroom in Kansas City is making a trip to Colorado to tackle our bathroom so we decided to have him do everything since we trust him! We are going to tile the shower to the ceiling, add a niche, add a corner bench, and replace the shower head with this black shower head.

After we purchased the cabin we had a new custom shower door installed. It made the world of difference! We definitely plan on reusing it.

The tile I picked looks like marble but it’s porcelain with a matte finish (slip resistant, perfect for a Airbnb). We are taking out the shower pan and tiling the shower floor in this fun herringbone tile. The shower walls will be a brick pattern with a warm grey grout.

We painted the vanity a while back to “polish a turd” per se, but we never liked the over-mount sink. We are taking the vanity out, and replacing it with this freestanding wood vanity. It’s the same vanity we put in the girl’s bathroom only in wood, not gray. I love this vanity! The bottom two drawers are actually just one deep drawer. The drawers are soft close, the sink is centered, the top is engineered stone and looks like quartz, and it comes with a backsplash (which is what made me choose this one over my second choice).

I put together a design board to help me visualize the space. The cabin has one bathroom so we want it to look nice! The luxury vinyl tile floor will stay the same. December can’t come soon enough!
