We are officially ready for you, baby girl! Our boho inspired nursery is finally finished! When I started on this room I envisioned it being neutral (an extension of our home) with a splash of color.
Our baby girl is set to arrive any day now and I can’t wait for her to see her room! It truly is my dream nursery and favorite room in the house. Working on this room brought Brett and I closer as a couple knowing we were putting in the work for our sweet girl! Now for the big reveal!

I knew how I wanted the nursery to look before we knew the baby’s gender. I liked the idea of gender neutral big ticket items mixed in with a more feminine rug and pillows – It will make for an easy transition if we were to have a boy a few years down the road. Plus, I’m not much of a pink person.
This rug from Rebecca and Genevieve was a game changer. I still can’t believe I own a vintage rug! I stressed over finding the perfect rug (#firstworldproblems, I know). Once this beauty arrived, the room was complete shortly there after. The other accessories fell into place (with little returning / exchanging involved).

This room made me realize (yet again) how thankful I am I married a handyman. Brett did the shiplap wall (using this shiplap), he built the book ledges, and the cute little plant stand. This room was somewhat of a “junk room” before it became a nursery. Brett also built floor to ceiling shelves in our basement to store the “junk” we moved out of this room.
Now we just sit back, relax and wait for our girl to arrive! The waiting game is not my speciality, that’s for sure. Any tips on how to survive the final days are welcome!
I have linked all products below! That’s it, you guys!

Love this sweet little room! It is perfectly done! We just found out that we are having our first baby in May! Yay! I was wondering where you got the rug and the little rocker.
