A special thanks to Walmart for sponsoring this post.
Fall colors are my absolute favorite – If you haven’t already noticed by now, I am all about the warm colors and fall textures. Since I recently redid our entryway I was excited to update the space with some fall vibes this year!
I bought this set of two baskets from Walmart (only $28 for a set of two!) – I displayed the larger basket with faux olive stems and this buffalo check throw blanket (for only $15.99). I also took down our existing entryway sign (for the time-being) and put these botanical prints up ($28 for a set of four) with command hooks. Side note: command hooks are great for seasonal decor since seasonal decor is only up for a couple months.
The prints present a vintage vibe – As much as my style has shifted from antiques / vintage to more Scandinavian / modern, I still love vintage pieces paired with modern pieces.
Have I mentioned how much I love this season? I don’t love the shorter days but I love the fall feels, y’all!!
Walmart has a ton of great fall decor products that work well for vintage lovers and/or those who prefer modern / clean lines and high contrast (or those who are a mix of ALL the styles, like me!) Here’s a few more fall items I’m currently loving from Walmart!
Thanks for stopping by, friends!

What does the rest of the entry way look like? Is it just one solid color on the other side?
Rachel says
Jamie – This is fantastic! So creative and I love that it was done on a budget. We’re about to start our home refresh after moving in two years ago. I’m always planning but haven’t come around to starting as it’s daunting to think of all the work. This inspires me to just start with something simple to get the ball rolling. Thanks!!
Michelle says
Love the This look! Especially love the purse! What is the name/brand/color/style of the purse please?
Thank you!

Hey! I LOVE THIS! I have a black hardwood floor with white baseboards. What’s your opinion on a contrast color/color family that would work under the coat rack, since sea Serpent would be too dark for my area.
John Hammill says
What size board and stain was used?
Leah says
What stain did you use on the wood?! I love the tone !
Jamie says

Maria Ward says

8 feet!
Ashley says
How did you hang the wood piece? And where did you get it?
Kirsten says
Hi! I love this and want to recreate it! What size wood board did you use? What type of wood and where did you buy it?
Jennifer says
Can you give some directions on how to add the wood beam across? Was it difficult?
LC says
I love the wood beam and am currently here buying the stain to create today! However, you mention two different stains in your comment: Dark Walnut and All America.
Can you confirm which stain is actually used on this wood beam that everyone is raving about? It’s gorgeous!!!!
T says
Yes I want to know too. Which color. I love it
Stacy says
How would you describe the sea serpent color? Online at SW it looks really blue but on your wall it looks more green or teal. It’s hard to pick colors right now when we can’t physically go in the store. It’s beautiful btw!
Debra Stallings says
Your entry is beautiful! I need the floral botanical prints but can’t locate them. It said Walmart but comes up with an error. Please help.
Danielle says
What is the measurement of the board placement? Measurement please
Laura Heptner says
How did you secure the wood to the wall? Just screw it into the studs? Or did you screw through the coat hooks through the board and then into the wall?
Helia VB says
What is the color opposite this wall? The color above the door?
Catrina says
Hi! Loving this entry way! We are planning something similar on a wall in our house. I haven’t been able to find any hooks I like, but love the ones you chose. Where did you get them? And do you know the exact name, so I can order some! Thank you
Michelle says
I would love to know where the hooks are from too!
Nicole Wilson says
I copied your idea and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Thank you for the inspiration!!
Karrie says
Hi I know your probably tired of answering on this post but what size wood rail did you chose? Wondering what width would be needed to secure the hooks as my kids are not very delicate🤦🏻♀️ I think 1/4 inch but my husband believes thicker would be better. Thank you

Hi Jamie,
This entryway is gorgeous.
I have two questions, what did you do on the opposite wall, same technique or just plain mindful grey paint? Does the light fixture give off good light?
Thanks so much.
Jamie says
The opposite wall is a hallway! The light fixture gives off great light! I’m super happy with it
