This year, I kept it simple! I am all for decorating for the season, but I don’t like to break the bank, and I prefer to keep it minimal.
We got a new front door a few weeks ago so I (of course) had to show it off. I started by purchasing this buffalo check mat that I put underneath our welcome mat. I love the trend of layered rugs on front porches. I didn’t realize just how small our existing welcome mat was until I layered it. *Face Palm* I bought three mums, a few bushel baskets (which I can reuse next year), five pumpkins, and some kale. We also had this old metal bucket lying around that I used as a planter, as well.
Like, I said – You don’t have to break the bank to decorate for the season. I spent roughly $75 on the front porch decor, and several things I can reuse next year. Win-win!
