New Year, New Throw Pillows

Recently I changed up the look of our entire living room, simply by changing our throw pillows. I have to confess, I obsessed over this throw pillow dilemma. I couldn’t stop thinking and researching all things throw pillows until they were all together, just so on our couch.

We bought a new love seat so it was time to step up my game and find a way to tie in this space with the rest of the house. I initially purchased these black and white X pillows. None of my other pillows went with these pillows but I knew I had to have them.

Their texture and boldness were exactly what this room needed. Because our house is mostly neutral, I also wanted to bring a color into this room to change things up. Blue has always been my favorite but I didn’t know where to begin to tie in blue with black and white.  I thought – I have to have a pillow that has blue, black and white it in to make this work. It’s clean, simple, and a slightly more modern look than I had previously.

Lastly, I threw in another neutral and a camel color leather pillow to add another size in the mix. The leather pillow also pulls in the color of our dining room ceiling.
